The Random Drug Testing procedure has been implemented in the school system this year. 2007 notices:
The UFRSD Board of Education is considering the merits of a Random Drug
Testing procedure. A committee charged by the Board of Education in the
Spring of 2007 provided a thorough analysis of this process as a tool to
assist students in identifying their priorities and maintaining a
healthy life style during their high school experience. The DRAFT
policy below is their first attempt to clarify this process and if
adopted by the Board would be followed by a set of regulations that
would guide the implementation of this policy. Please be aware that
this policy is adopted after a ninety day process of multiple readings
by the Board of Education.
