Did you know ?

that the Alliance is not only involved with Prevention in the school system, but is actively involved in reaching and educating all people, of all ages in our community?

that this year had the largest enrollment ever for the High School's LIFESAVERS program? (thank you Rick Rivera!)

that the "at risk" youth is not always the kid with bad grades who gets into alot of trouble,but could look like your own child?.......a good student, overachiever, shy, class clown, jock, people pleaser?     (alcoholism and drug abuse does not "discriminate".)

that children DO learn from watching you?

that the average age of New Jersey youths getting involved with drinking is 11 years old?

that there are over 250 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings within a 10 mile radius of Allentown, that it's for all ages,and there are 7 meeting each week right here in Allentown?

that there are two weekly AL- A- TEEN meetings within 5 miles of Allentown/Upper Freehold?

that one of the greatest prevention efforts made by some Parents in our community could be their own recovery?

that we have one of the greatest school systems with the greatest group of children anywhere   : )   that deserve our time, attention and funding towards Prevention?

that ,with the exception of the coordinator, the Alliance is made up of VOLUNTEERS from all walks of life, who want a better future for our community?
